The Ultimate Guide to Business Travel Cocktails

Traveling for business can be exhausting, but it doesn't have to be all work and no play. One way to unwind and make the most of your trip or late night email “catch up” is by indulging in a delicious cocktail. I traveled a lot for work - so here are some tips, recipes, and recommendations to help you enjoy the ultimate business travel cocktails experience.

 Airport Lounges and Hotel Bars

When it comes to finding a great cocktail while on a business trip, start by exploring airport lounges and hotel bars. Many offer high-quality, crafted cocktails that are perfect for unwinding after a long day of work or you may find that they have the basics.  Here's an easy hack - you can order a simple Bourbon and drop and Old Fashioned infusion into the mix and get a perfectly balanced craft cocktail at even the most basic airport bar.

In-flight Cocktails

If you're flying for business, whether you get offered a cocktail on a tray or you are waiting for that cart to come rolling down the aisle – you have options.

Airlines now offer a good selection of spirits – but unfortunately while in the air your mixer options are pretty limited.  Now at 30,000 feet you can open your own craft cocktail bar by opening your carry on bag and pulling out a cocktail infusion.  Think of a delicious Gin and Tonic infused with bright botanicals like Blueberry and Lemon or Grapefruit and Hibiscus.  Create your own Mile High classic.

Mini Bar Cocktails

Trapped in your room working – or just tired?  There’s more to the mini bar than expensive M&Ms.  Pull out a bottle of Vodka and grab some ice.  Add a Pear and Ginger Infusion and you have a very dry Pear and Ginger Martini.  Now you are pretty swanky with your hotel room cocktail.  With a little box of cocktail infusions you can easily infuse and mix up your favorite cocktail in your hotel room and avoid the overpriced drinks at hotel bars.

Business travel cocktails can be a great way to unwind and make the most of your trip. Whether you're exploring airport lounges and hotel bars or making your own cocktails in your hotel room, there are plenty of options to satisfy your thirst for great cocktails. By following these tips and recommendations, you can elevate your business travel experience and indulge in the perfect cocktail.
